Katie has had significant symptoms limiting her daily life and forcing her to rely on symptomatic rescues just to get by. Here are her thoughts about her journey and her visit here at POTS Care.
I have been sick for almost 7 years so it will be a long journey to recovery. However, I now have a plan. Doctors I have been to in the past know that I am sick but have not known how to help me.
At POTS Care, I was not looked at like I am crazy and not treated that way either. I was treated very kindly. They understand how sick we are before we even get there! Dr. Driscoll is amazing because she has been through this and tries very hard to help each person. My doctors have missed so much. I do hope that this will be the last piece of the puzzle and I can start healing now. I sure wish I would have found Dr. Driscoll 6 ½ years ago. I might not have had to go through as much suffering!!
