With POTS Telemedicine, We Can Do This From the Comfort of Your Home!
The Driscoll Approach™
POTS Care Now Comes to You Remotely!
You have seen many doctors — and they do a great job of ruling out many conditions. You need a team to approach your case from a different direction — you need someone to do the brain work on your case! That is where we come in!
How Does POTS Telemedicine Work?
The first thing we do when evaluating our patients is to review prior medical records. Many patients have already been evaluated for numerous conditions, they’ve had cardiology evaluations, and sometimes have MRI’s, many blood test results, and an assortment of testing that can help us. From there, we look at an exhaustive list of potential signs and symptoms to provide patients with a list of customized blood work to be performed.
We review brain MRI’s and eye examinations if those have been completed. If they are necessary, they can be ordered and completed when the time is appropriate. We would like for you to be able to monitor your heart rate and blood pressure, and if you do not have a method to do so, we will send you appropriate equipment prior to your visit.
We can perform some examinations over a video to look for some signs and symptoms that give us clues to the underlying problems contributing to POTS. Our doctors are highly skilled at this, as well as well-practiced with telemedicine!
We will be with you for about 2-4 hours per day from the comfort of your own home. This is a two-month POTS Telemedicine program and after your three days with us over videos, we will continue to be in close contact with you for an additional two months! We will also send you audios that are hand chosen for you, depending upon your struggles — and these will continue for three months. Some of these audios are focused on education about your underlying conditions so that you can remain in control of your health, and others are focused on the psychological aspect of the journey to recovery.
We also include some biofeedback that will begin a few weeks after medical care has begun. Biofeedback is not a cure but can help us control some of the “fight or flight” responses that can worsen our symptoms prior to recovery.
This is all designed to get you the answers you need and provide you with all of the guidance you need to feel in control again.
When approached properly, this condition can be evaluated and addressed remotely! We know where to begin looking for answers. We have always approached every case as non-invasively as possible, with the lowest risk medications and supplements available. We will locate the source(s) of your illness and lay out a careful plan to get you through recovery!”
Let’s start this journey today.
POTS Recovery
The Last Stop On Your Journey
–“This condition was incredibly disabling for my son and I. At one point, I was looking at nursing homes and begged my doctor to put me in the hospital. I understand how amazing it may seem to you to do this virtually, but we are very good at what we do. POTS is all we do. We can get you the answers!
Although I was disabled for over a decade, and my son missed three years of school as we scrambled for answers, this doesn’t need to be your fate! The ability to recover and get back to school and/or work is worth the journey. We can do this remotely, and we look forward to diving deeply into your case. Let us hold your hand through this because–
There IS life after POTS!”
— Dr. Diana Driscoll
Mary's Story
“At POTS Care they look at why a patient has POTS, not just how to cope with or cover up the symptoms.“
Rachel's Story
“If I would have gone to see her earlier, I could have saved myself from 7 months of treatment with my other doctor that only seemed to make my symptoms worse. I am so thrilled to say that I have seen a huge improvement in my POTS symptoms.”
Fletcher's Story
“Fletcher’s health has improved significantly! He is back to doing the things he loves. We are thrilled! Dr. Driscoll is one of our heroes. She is an expert at dealing with POTS.”
