Kimbree came to POTS Care after struggling with POTS for 4 years after being triggered by a virus. Her diagnoses included POTS, EDS, Chiari 1 Malformation, Chronic Fatigue, Panic Disorder, and Hemiplegic Migraines. After an in depth review and different testing, Kimbree began noticing improvements by the end of her week at POTS Care.
INTERVIEWER: Many people who are considering coming to POTS Care wonder exactly what happens here – do they use real science? Is it quackery? Is there anything you would like to share for those people?
PATIENT: At POTS Care they really try to figure out everything they can. There are a lot of eye tests. It’s not the most comfortable thing while you’re doing the tests, but everyone tries their best to make you feel well taken care of. They do use real science. If you hear Dr. Driscoll explain it, it makes a lot of sense and applies to your symptoms.
INTERVIEWER: Were we able to identify any underlying problems contributing to your illness that others have missed?
PATIENT: POTS Care was able to find a lot of underlying issues that no other doctors have been able to find. I didn’t even know I wasn’t absorbing my food well until I came here.
INTERVIEWER: Would you like to share anything about your struggles or journey before coming to POTS Care?
PATIENT: This is a very tough condition. It’s so hard every day. Me and my family have been struggling, searching, and praying for an answer to this awful trial. We really feel that POTS Care is the answer to our prayers. In just the few days I’ve been here, I’m already feeling better. INTERVIEWER: Lori, is there anything you would like to add?
PATIENT’S MOTHER: Before coming to POTS Care we were so frustrated and worried for our beautiful teenage daughter. She had become so sick. She was homebound staying in her room with no lights, suffering immensely, changing positions and I couldn’t seem to give her any relief. The POTS specialist we were going to had tried a couple different protocols (the Mayo Clinic protocols) and our daughter had just seemed to get worse. She couldn’t attend school, had lost her friends and wasn’t able to function. She seemed to get very depressed wondering if her life would always be this way and scared to do what the doctor asked. I was definitely scared also. I searched and studied and was so excited to find Dr. Driscoll who has a different approach than the salt and Florinef method. My daughter’s symptoms seemed to be explained. We came to POTS Care and have been so happy with our time here. She was treated so nicely and given a much more clear answer as to what was wrong. We believe the answers are great and are based on blood work, eye tests, and proof of everything. We are so hopeful. Our daughter is already feeling much better!
