My 12 year old suffered from severe symptoms before coming to POTS Care. He had breathing issues, tachycardia, migraines, severe dizziness, GI problems, and terrible fatigue. A cardiologist had diagnosed him with POTS. The doctor put him on beta blockers, blood pressure medicine, and salt pills. However, he just kept getting sicker and sicker. He was unable to go to school or do any of his regular activities. We were terrified! Fortunately, a woman from our area heard our story and contacted me. She had just gotten back from POTS Care herself. She said it was a life-changing experience. After hearing about her dramatic recovery, we decided to call POTS Care. It was the best decision we ever made! The POTS Care team went right to work ordering blood work and sending us questionnaires about his medical issues a month before our appointment. The week we spent at POTS Care was very eye-opening. We learned more about our son’s health issues that week than we had known about him his entire life.  He was able to get off the beta blockers, blood pressure medicine, and salt pills. He got a treatment plan that was personalized for his underlying health problems. His health has improved significantly! He is back to doing the things he loves. We are thrilled! Dr. Driscoll is one of our heroes. She is an expert at dealing with POTS.
